04 Ott Venice and its islands: a sailing weekend in the lagoon
An unmissable opportunity to rediscover a great classic of boat tours: the Venice lagoon. For Easter or the following weekends until the 1st of May, come aboard for an unusual tour of the lagoon.
Three or four days in the magical atmosphere of the lagoon, navigating through canals or in the offshore, easily reachable from Lido, Alberoni or Chioggia. Discover the colorful islands of the lagoon, along with the uninhabited and lesser-known ones. Lastly, admire San Marco from the sea from the comfort of our sailboat.
PROGRAM
First day: Embarking in Chioggia or nearby ports in the late afternoon. After settling down, we buy food for the galley and have a briefing with the skipper. Dinner together and a walk around the town alleys.
Second day: from Lusenzo lagoon we commence our journey to Venice. Offshore navigation to the lagoon via the lido’s canals and some lunch at Torcello island. Two free hours to explore the area and visit the oldest church in Venice. We head to Burano for a stroll around the island, followed by dusk navigation to San Giorgio island. The atmosphere is truly intoxicating, leaving you speechless upon the beauty of this iconic place: the Duchal Palace, San Marco, and the Bridge of Sighs. Dinner on board and then Venice by night.
Third day: We head to Sant’Erasmo and take a walk along the beach. We can try to go offshore and practice some gaits before stopping for lunch and a quick swim. On our way back, we coast Pellestrina island, enjoying its many colors. The perfect way to conclude our trip, see you soon!

USEFUL INFORMATION
A sailing holiday is ideal for people that enjoy the sea, the sun, and freedom, along with people that are tired of the busy beaches and the frenetic city life. The program may vary depending on weather conditions or the participants’ request. Our excursions are simple and with many breaks. We stop by bays for a swim or in the land for a walk. Those who wish can participate in the navigation to gain confidence in the boat. We can decide to have dinner on board or land. For the night we sleep in a protected bay or the equipped marinas. To participate, you don’t need to be a sailor or join as a group. If you travel alone, or in two, we are going to match you with people like you. Alternatively, you can also book the boat for exclusive use, ideal for large families or a group of friends. You will find the skipper, a marine expert, who will take care of life in the boat collaborating with everyone. Check our tips for the ideal luggage.
