23 Set FLE – The treasures of the Tyrrhenian Sea: Pontine islands on a sailboat

A sailboat holiday to discover the three jewels of the Tyrrhenian sea: Ponza, Palmarola, and Ventotene. These islands will surprise you for their wild natural landscape, their stunning seabed and the dreamy coves.

Sail to the heart of the Tyrrhenian Sea and discover the trendy Ponza, the fascinating Palmarola, and the mysterious Ventotene. History and nature merge in this archipelago full of traditions and folklore. Explore countless caves and coves, where the sea has thousands of colors. Our boat is the best possible way to experience this paradise.

PROGRAM

MONDAY: We start our journey from Ponza, where we settle down and buy the necessities for the galley. We’re now ready to sail towards the first island: Palmarola. The first necessary stop will be in Cala Brigantina, where pirates used to find shelter in the XVIII century. We have the chance to visit Punta Mezzogiorno’s caves, refreshing ourselves in their emerald-green water. After dinner on board, we can fall asleep lulled by the sea.
TUESDAY: Today, we sail around Palmarola, charmed by its beauty. Let’s dive in the waters of Cala del Francese and Punta Tramontana, where we can admire the beauty of the cathedrals. Later in the evening, we go back to Ponza, where we will sleep in the harbor of Frontone.
WEDNESDAY: After a dip in the early dawn hours, we sail to Ventotene at around 7:30. During these 4/5 hours of navigation between the two islands, we can all help each other out with the boat’s helm. As soon as we get there, we can stop by Parata Grande for a swim, and in the early afternoon, we can enter the port. Later, we can make some guided visits to Cisterna Romano and Villa Giulia. In the evening, we can visit the island or have a relaxing drink on the boat.
THURSDAY: Before reaching Ventotene, we can admire from a distance the mysterious and uninhibited Santo Stefano island. After a swim, we arrive in Vetotene, its views and cliffs will leave us enchanted. For the evening we go to land for a visit to the island or an aperitivo. The magic of this island makes us feel so good!
FRIDAY: Last dip in Ventotene before we head back to Ponza. We will explore its beautiful coves, like Cala dell’Acqua, Cala di Feola, and Faraglioni di Lucia Rosa. After a day of swimming in the beautiful natural pools dug into the tuff, we spend our night in the harbor.
SATURDAY: This morning we head to Chiaia di Luna, where we can visit Circe’s caves. In the afternoon, we sail under the Monte la Guardia’s lighthouse to later arrive in Ponza’s port. After some relax, we can celebrate our last night with a dinner together in one of the island’s restaurants.
SUNDAY: It’s time to say goodbye and remember all the unforgettable moments of this trip. Surely an experience to repeat as soon as possible!

Guide: The skipper is the boat’s captain and the itinerary expert, thus for safety reasons their decisions on the navigation are incontestable. The skipper coordinates and manages cleaning and kitchen activities with the passengers.
Individual price: €750 between 29/7-1/9
Includes: accommodation in double cabins, navigation program, tender, final cleaning, health and luggage insurance 
Does not include: Journey to the embarking location, city tax where required, anything not listed in the “Includes” section. For galley, fuel, and marina, we estimated a daily amount of €30 per person.
To note: embarking scheduled on the morning of the arrival date, in case you need to arrive the night before you can book an extra night for a €40 fee.
