PROGRAM
MONDAY: At 13:00, we are ready to come aboard our catamaran. If we plan to climb the Stromboli, let’s warn the captain so they can prepare accordingly. After getting our food in the galley, we are ready for a quick swim facing Lipari’s Castle. For the night, we can anchor the boat at Cala di Ponente and maybe swim in its hot waters. So relaxing!
TUESDAY: Today we visit Vulcano, we can climb up to the crater, or bathe in the therapeutic muds. If we are feeling lazy, we can even stay on board and try some fishing or apneas with our captain. In the afternoon, we steer towards the glamorous Panarea. We finally moor in Cala Junco to take a walk and maybe get some cocktails on Terrazza del Raja.
WEDNESDAY: from Panarea, we reach Cala la Neve and Faraglione, where we can take a swim and relax for a bit. Then in the afternoon, we sail to Stromboli and its dark beaches, crystalline waters, and lush nature. Want to climb the volcano? Let’s get our trekking shoes and prepare for the breathtaking view from 924 meters high. We can also admire the sciara del fuoco descending to the sea from aboard our catamaran.
THURSDAY: today we leave for Salina, the greenest of the islands. Here we can rent a moped and tour all the locations where “Il postino” was filmed. We can also grab a bite in Lingua with some cunzatu bread and delicious Alfredo granita…or some tastings at Salvatore’s farm. We have so many possibilities we can’t get bored! Later in the evening, we enjoy dinner together, hoping to hear some island tales from our captain.
FRIDAY: the gorgeous Pollara awaits us. We get to enjoy its charming views and limpid waters. And if there are some volunteering free divers, we can enjoy the captain’s secret recipe: the sea urchin pasta. In the afternoon we sail to Filicudi. Let’s get our cameras ready for the astounding Canna rock, a 70 meters high column that will take your breath away, especially during sunset. In the evening, we can have some fun on board with dances and music until late.
SATURDAY: On our last day of sailing, we go back in time in the alleys of Filicudi and its traditional fishermen atmosphere. We must then admire the beautiful Grotta del Bue Marino, with its playful lights. We then go back to Lipari to explore its little shops and cafes.
SUNDAY: we are at the end of this incredible trip…studded with warm people and unforgettable places. Let’s say goodbye to the Aeolians.
Stromboli excursion: Stromboli’s guided night excursion is scheduled to take place from 5 to 11 pm. The price is approx. €28 (shoes, headlamp, and socks rental not included, available for €15, those who already have the equipment do not need to rent it). Guides do not allow to make the excursion in tennis shoes or sandals. We recommend trekking shoes for the sandy ground.
